Bernadette sent me her wedding gown to have a romper made for her first grandson as well as a kerchief for her daugther’s coming wedding. Her gown had some beautiful older lace that had colored with age. We decided to use that on the faux vest of the romper. It made such a beautiful little man’s outfit.

Dear Liane,

I would just like to thank you from the bottom of my heart what you did for me and my family for my new grandsons christening outfit. You went way above what I thought it was going to look like, we were away and I received the box, my husband and I both sat in such a state when we saw what you made from my gown. it is so beautiful and unique I can’t tell you how I felt. I sat and cried on how it turned out. you are right it is an heirloom and hopefully many generations will wear this outfit. the cap was also perfect. I love the bonnets but for this outfit that cap is going to look great.

Also thank you for the bib, I cried with that too, it is so perfect.

I will take pictures of my grandson at his christening and will certainly send you some and write a note about what you did for us. your work is superb and I already have been telling people about you and your web site.

Also thank  you so much for the handkerchief you made, I will be giving that to my daughter at her bridal shower at the end of this month and I know for certain she will carry it with her with pride, she always loved my gown and said it was a shame that people don’t do anything with their wedding dresses. so when she sees what I did she will be thrilled.

Don’t you worry if I have a grand daughter you better be ready with your magic cause I will be calling on you. Thank you again for everything …

Bernadette

So thankful I found your site on the computer.

Jennifer Francisco asked us to use her wedding dress remnants to make a custom Tree Topper Angel. The lovely lace and satin made a beautiful angel. She is about 11" or so tall. i really like making the angels. It is hard to find a consistent supplier of porcelain heads though so the heads can vary quite a bit. I like this particular one even though her head is tilted. ... See MoreSee Less

Jennifer Franisco sent her wedding dress to have a baptism gown, romper combo for her future grandchildren to wear. Jennifer's dress had some lovely cut-out lace and satin with bead work. We tried to capture much of those elements in the gown with puffed sleeves and some of the beaded lace hanging over the waist. Capturing the original hem was a bit of a challenge, but worth it. For the romper, we did use some of the lace as applique on the faux vest. We also made a matching bonnet for the gown and cap for the romper and a bib.
