Michelle MacDonald sent us a wedding dress to have this bear made. Turning an heirloom wedding dress into teddy bears is a great way to still have the memory of the dress while being able to better display the bear.
Linda Chung sent her late aunt's clothing to have us make bears and a pillow for her aunt's grandchildren and family. We mixed and matched the garment fabrics to make each bear different but used one garment in common for the foot pads, paw pads and ear pads.
We knew the pillow was going to an adult male so we mostly used the red fabrics instead of the pinks. One shirt had a playboy bunny graphic that we broke up into four pieces and turned into appliques for one side of the pillow. ... See MoreSee Less
Linda Conroy found us through Etsy. She sent her wedding dress to have us make our Gown, Romper combo. Linda's WD was made of a soft satin with cut-away lace and bead work. It was a challenge to keep the original hem line because the hem was mostly on a curve. However, with careful planning, we were able to do so.

For the romper, we pulled some of the lace to put on the faux vest. This soft satin makes a lovely romper. The combo included a matching bonnet and we also made a bib. ... See MoreSee Less
Ingrid Vezina sent her wedding dress to have us make a christening gown for her daughter. The wedding dress was very ornate with embroidery and bead work in layers. I didn't get a photo of the back of the dress and should have because it was multiple layers of bead work and embroidery. The fabrics were also very heavy. In order to capture some of the lovely bead work, I had to really cut with precision. I wanted to keep the gown from getting too heavy and that required taking the panels apart and using the thin under layer as lining. In addition to the gown, we made a matching bonnet, head band, dialper cover and bear. ... See MoreSee Less
Gail Goldsberry sent her wedding dress from 1982 to have us make a christening outfit for her granddaughter. Gail's dress had a few stain issues but we were able to work with the materials available. This high-quality satin and corded lace made such a lovely little gown. We also made a headband, matching booties and a protective bib. ... See MoreSee Less
