Jean Barford wanted a unisex baptism gown made from her wedding dress. When we are making a unisex gown that will have lace or other ornate materials, we usually choose to work with our “Bishop” style because it does have a very traditional look that works with a boy even though the gown might be somewhat ornate. In this case, we tried to keep some of the lace from the original dress skirt. We used the organza and lace over a lining fabric and treated them almost like one fabric.
